Winter is giving me some spare time to bring some long-term project finally to a final stage.
Always wanted to re-edit an old mix tape from around 1995 when i used to spin some techno, breakbeats and hardcore with my brother. I already made this edit in 2015 and you see it took me another few years to get this ready now for your ears.
I know, nobody really ever asked for this haha.
But everybody loved it when we played this old mix-tape on a good friends "stag night bicycle Schnitzeljagd" through the Hamburg habour all day long. Also played on one of the last illegal open-air raves at the Afrika-Kai in the habour a few summers back....
Anyway here it is.
I made a few hard copies just for my own pleasure.

For the cover art i used my brother's first full-color piece he painted back in 1988.
And there is also this rollin' freight tribute made for his birthday in 2015.
The smiley is just a perfect fit for the happy vibes of these "summer breaks"!
Excuse all the little bits of toy mixing skills. I kept those willfully just to make sure nobody will ever ask me to play happy hardcore at their party...!

Now that i closed this "cold case" i hopefully have more future time to start with my "Maccaroni Radioo" italo disco mix tapes this year... so stay tuned.
