Hector Umbra / Comic
My good friend and great illustrator Uli Oesterle just released his comic book "Hector Umbra". It is a great story about friendship and brain aliens. And it is set in the environment of my home city Munich. The book contains all 3 chapters of Hector Umbra's story. While the first album was released in 2004 the 2nd and 3rd chapter now are coming all together in this complete trilogy. I visited Uli in his studio while he was working like mad on his comic book. And all his effort turned out worthwhile because the book is a bomb! So far it is published in German only. (uh, just heart there is also a Polish, Dutch and French edition out!) Get it here.
(psst! ... my very first street sticker is making a sneaky appearance in the cityscape somewhere in the comic book :-)

Hope Box Angels @ MOMA / Zagreb
After our stay in Berlin we went straight to Zagreb/HR. Hope Box set up a wall painting project at the Museum Of Modern Art (still under construction) in Zagreb. Heaven and Hell. Together with the YCP gang we painted this clash of our characters there. Evil vs Good. Shout outs to all the good guys: Lunar / Angel / Morka / Lortek / Zets / Zeds and Rienke!

Pictoplasma Character Walk @ F.I.T. / Berlin
The London Police and me painted the F.I.T. art space for the Pictoplasma Character Walk in Berlin. This building is a former gas station and so we made our characters pumping colours through that place instead of gas. There is also a small gallery space inside showing some original artwork on canvases there. Thanx to all people from Pictoplasma for making this happen and giving us good times and party. Also thanx to Dida from F.I.T. for bringing us constantly bottles of world's best beer "Tegernseer Hell". And cheers to Just for his work-in-progress photo report here.

Förtress X Djil X NadaOne / Geneva CH
Before the opening of the ZEE exhibition i hang out with NadaOne
and Djil to paint a wall in the rain in the afternoon. Weather was a mess but it turned out very nice. Just 2 hours before i hit a wall with Serval under a bridge so rain didn't bother us a that time. Have to wait to get flix from that, too. Will post it then... Thanx again to all of you, guys!
